This book is what all other herpes self-help books do not. It is not like other books. The writing style is a bit of "technical, but the content is understandable by non-medical people like me. Covers a discussion on many of the "alternative" ways of dealing strictly in terms of how they are documented or not in the scientific and medical literature. The author gives no guarantees for miracle cures and produces no sales pitch, but he has made great efforts to pay for some "promising alternative treatments for other conditions go to dig effectively. Some of the supplements and herbs have a lot of documentation to support them and have very little. Just the facts clear. I know people who use BHT to suppress their herpes outbreaks with success and without apparent side effects. I wish I had read this book when my grandmother she suffered from herpes zoster. I highly recommend it!
